The Holme Pierrepont Hall Christmas Fair raises money for Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People. The Fair is run by a small committee who work throughout the year to provide a fabulous day’s shopping in this stunning venue. Our stallholders are handpicked to offer a broad range of unique gifts for our discerning shoppers.
Built by Sir William Pierrepont circa 1500, this magnificent private house is set in 30 acres of tranquil parkland and gardens. The house has been occupied by the Pierrepont family and their descendants ever since its construction. This unique property, 15 minutes from Nottingham, is available for hire for weddings, parties and corporate events.
This year our invitation artwork of the Hall has been done by artist and printmaker James Green who uses linocut to create prints of landscapes. James's work often includes his hometown Sheffield and its surrounds, and creatures, especially donkeys, for no reason other than he finds them rather compelling! James also writes for art publications and has recently taken part in the Sky Arts ‘Portrait Artist of the Year’ and ‘Landscape Artist of the Year’ TV programmes.

Rainbows is the East Midlands Hospice for Children and Young People, helping them live and enjoy every minute of every single day. Opened in 1994, Rainbows has offered respite, palliative and end-of-life care to many hundreds of children plus vital support to their families. Each year we have to raise in excess of £5 million, relying heavily on voluntary contributions to keep our doors open.
